Incredible wines,
independent producers
We have been sourcing independently owned wines for over twenty years. Our mission is to find and share wines that make a statement from wine makers who have something to say.
Our wines are enjoyed in Michelin star restaurants and your favorite backyards.
We’ve sampled a lot of wines. We’ve walked a lot of vineyards. We’ve spent countless hours in cold cellars. In each we discover a unique story and approach that you can taste in each bottle.
You can find less expensive wine clubs out there, but we pride ourselves on delivering wines that you’ll find exceptional, not just drinkable. And because our wines come from small to mid-sized independent producers, our prices reflect fair and equitable wages for the makers and their staff.
Marc and Jenny Teixeira, founders and owners of ViniCulture.

Everywhere!

Yes. All our producers are independently owned. Technically, that means that legally they are directly the owners, family, and/or founders, and not run by a separate entity. Why it’s important to us and our choice of wines is that the wine makers have absolute freedom to make the wines following their vision of how their grapes should be grown and how the wines should be produced.
-
Almost all of our wines are from organically and/or bio dynamically grown grapes. They are all grown with minimal input to the grapes, soil and juice.
All our producers want to support the long-term sustainable health of their vineyards and our planet, after all, their homes are often nestled within the same vineyards. They make decisions based on this reality. Occasionally that means that one of their methods doesn’t fall under the technical terms of ‘organic’, this is almost always a fungicide issue as rot can be an insurmountable problem in cool and rainy regions. We’re very happy to go into more detail on this complex and nuanced matter. Get in touch with questions. -

what makes a wine an viniculture Wine?
ViniCulture wines are made by people, not companies. All our producers are hands-on. They all have a strong point of view about how wines are grown, harvested, fermented, and bottled.
